In what will surely be the most shocking news of the day, Dan Aykroyd Y chevy chase have joined the cast of a r.l. stine adaptation. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the pair of originals saturday night live cast members will appear in the next movie zombie town. The film is described as a “mysterious teen romance”.
zombie town is based on the 2012 book of the same name by childhood horror icon Stine. Follow the story of 12-year-old Mike who decides to go see a movie called zombie town with a friend. But the pair of kids get more than they bargained for when the movie’s zombies leap from the screen into real life, turning their sleepy town upside down. The nature and size of Aykroyd and Chase’s roles are being kept under wraps.
Oddly enough, with this casting, zombie town It will be a great moment for the world of comedy. It will be the first time Aykroyd and Chase have been in a movie together since the 1991 black comedy. nothing but trouble. They were both original cast members on saturday night live and they quickly became household names with great careers. Aykroyd is probably best known for starring in and writing such iconic comedies as Ghostbusters Y the blues brothers. Chase is also known for his performances in comedies like caddyshack and the National Lampoon Vacation movies, as well as the hit comedy series Community.
zombie town is currently filming in Ontario with stars marlon kazadi Y madi monroe playing the two teenagers at the center of the story. The cast of the film will also include Ready or Not star Henry Cherny Y kids in the hallway stars Thompson Y bruce mcculloch. zombie town is being run by the nut job director Peter Lepeniotis. The screenplay was adapted from Stine’s book by the writing team at jason bourqueLepeniotis, miguel samonek, Michael SchwartzY Dean Wilkinson. zombie town is being produced by Trimuse Entertainment, Toonz Media Group, Lookout Entertainment and Viva Pictures. Also, kim coates is executive producer.
