Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC adds feathered dinosaurs

jurassic world had finally embraced the feathered dinosaurs with Jurassic World Dominionand now jurassic world evolution 2 is following his example. The duly titled Feathered Species Pack It’s out in the park construction sim on March 30 for $7.99 and includes four species of feathered dinosaurs. It also coincides with a great free update.

The new species are in the slideshow above and in the featured image. Yutyrannus, which translates to “feathered tyrant,” pictured above is one of the largest feathered carnivores ever discovered and was first found in northeast China. Deinocheirus, the duck-billed dinosaur, is one of the largest ornithomimosaurs (ostrich-like creatures) ever discovered. It feeds on plants and fish. The Jeholopterus is the flying reptile and is the smallest species that has reached jurassic world evolution 2 until now. The final dinosaur, Sinosauropteryx, is noteworthy because its fossils were the first to suggest that feathered dinosaurs existed when it was discovered in 1996.

The free game update (which Frontier Developments recently streamed) includes some new items, quality of life features, and bug fixes. Remote viewing galleries are one such new feature, giving guests a way to get a closer look at the dinosaurs in their pens. There’s also a new cinematic camera feature that allows players to “switch between camera angles and viewpoints” for wildlife footage. It appears to be some sort of Photo Mode, as polygonal photographers can also add a suite of overlays and cosmetic options to change the way the image comes out. Ziplines are also getting another variant based on Jurassic Parkwhich means users can mix and match eras.

Sandbox mode is even getting an overhaul, as it’s getting six new square levels based on the game’s six biomes. The US Southwest, San Diego, and California will also get three more square tiers. Players can further modify some options such as taxes, feeders, decorative foliage, and wild capture frequency in Sandbox mode.

Quality of life features include instant construction of toilets, toilets and shelters, the ability to place multiples of the same building more quickly, small dinosaurs have more behaviors and changes in sauropod combat and carnivore hunting. PlayStation 4 players can also upload their progress to the PS5 version of the game and merge their progress. Strangely, this last feature was also included in a previous patch, but it might have been buggy according to some users. The more detailed patch notes will be released on March 30.
