“But when she breaks her mother’s #1 rule, Ruby will discover that she is a direct descendant of the Kraken warrior queens and is destined to inherit the throne from her commanding grandmother, the Warrior Queen of the Seven Seas. The Kraken has sworn to protect the world’s oceans against the vain and power-hungry sirens who have been fighting the Kraken for eons. There’s a major and immediate problem with that: the beautiful and popular new girl at school, Chelsea, turns out to be a mermaid. Ultimately, Ruby will have to accept who she is and do something big to protect the ones she loves the most.”
